Speaker Bios
As Chief Information Officer, Murali is responsible for all facets of the firm’s information and knowledge management architecture. He is directly involved in establishing the vision for the firm’s information systems and services – one that creates a high-performance culture through agile, innovative use of tools and technologies. As an Architect, Murali has worked with some of the firm’s high profile corporate clients on strategic planning and consulting engagements. He has led complex projects that required an integrated, systems-driven emphasis – projects related to portfolio planning, real estate information management, and scenario-driven strategic planning. His clients included Hewitt Associates, AT&T, Nuveen Investments, and Schneider Electric. A core innovator and system-thinker at heart, Murali is driven by the intellectual pursuit to seek holistic but simple solutions to complex problems. Murali holds a Master of Science from Arizona State University with a focus on computer-aided design methods, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Madras in India, where he graduated as the top ranked student in the program. Murali also ranked first in India in the graduate aptitude tests in architecture.

Yash Chitale is an emerging leader and expert in science and technology discipline at Perkins+Will. Yash brings strong technical expertise, effective management and collaborations skills to serve some of our premier clients both locally and globally. Her clients include Genentech, Chevron, Stanford University, University of California and JTC Corporation, Singapore. Yash has keen interest in clean technology sector, has worked on cleantech facilities in Singapore and is currently involved in cleantech research. Yash is an alumni of Perkins+Will’s Leadership Institute and was chosen to represent the San Francisco Office in the inaugural edition of this program in 2007. Yash and her fellow colleagues at the institute developed an incentive driven Ideas Incubator program to foster innovation and research at Perkins+Will. In the last couple of years, this program has turned in around 60+ successful projects that have generated new ideas in wide range of categories from planning, design and computer technology to marketing, management and business. Yash holds a Master of Architecture from University of Utah with a focus on architectural design and theory, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Mumbai in India.
